Accessibility is important when considering e-learning. Implementing accessibility standards ensures that all the e-learning population can access the e-learning content. Accessibility issues can concern motor problems (i.e. accessibility issues using the keyboard and mouse) and visual (i.e. short sightedness requiring the need to screen readers. Accessible e-learning tends to avoid embedded text in Flash objects and enables the user to navigate the e-learning using the tab key.
